Actually I went to kitty camp and had a great time. I got to stay in the playhouse most of the time, because there was just one other kitty in the whole camp. His name was Freddo He was really really old, and very upset to be there. Can you believe that. It's camp for goodness sake. And, even more strange, he didn't want to jump up on the ledge and look out the window with me. So I jumped up there and made it my mission to report everything he was missing.
For instance...there was a little grey birdy on the grass. I gotta picture of it. You gotta look really close, but he's there.. Can you see him?
Little grey birdy's are boring, so because I'm blessed with an extra specially large imagination I told Freddo the birdy was huge and red with really long legs. He didn't believe me, so I waved my magic imagination wand and...alakazam...a big red bird appeared just like this one. It did, it did, and no I'm not making this up. I saw it with my own eyes.
Then I told Freddo a really bad thing. I said the birdy had changed colours and was digging a hole to sit in. (Really dumb, because birdys fly, and groundhogs dig holes). But I said it, so I had to imagine it up for him. What do you think?
Pretty cool if I do say so myself.
I couldn't stop making things up. That's was caused me to tell a really big whopper. I told him I could see a crocodile sitting on the edge of a puddle. (Note to self, be careful what you imagine, and where, you imagine it, 'cause sometimes it can be dangerous). See what I mean.
Lucky for him (and me and Freddo) I imagined he was outside the window. I think he was scared of me though.
Then, I started thinking about fish in ponds. And before you know it, I made up a story about a mean old cat fish with ugly spots all over him.
Yikes, he's way too big, so I decided to imagine him really really small.
Whew that's better. I don't like fishes that are bigger than me (even imaginary ones).
Freddo was getting hungry by this time, so he asked if there was anything out there that looked good to eat. Heh, heh, heh, I guess there was, if you're into jell-o.
or strange see-through mushrooms.
Hey I think I know how Alice in Wonderland felt when she saw all the strange things she saw when she fell down the rabbit hole.
Okay, now I gotta confession to make, I didn't magic any of this stuff up. What you just saw were the pictures my lady peep took at the Vancouver aquarium when she was there on Easter weekend. But I was really at camp....
The lady peep says I have to say, some cats may have seen a video of otters from the Vancouver aquarium on You-Tube. My lady peep did, so she wanted to get a picture of them in real life. And. She. Did. Here they are, aren't they just the cutest couple ever. They REALLY REALLY are holding hands.
Oh yeah, and this is a beluga whale and his trainer peep. He could do lots of cool things too.
So that's my story for today.
