Happy New Year everyone. Its been very busy here because I'm trying very hard to keep my New Year's Resolutions to play more, sleep more, diet, smack the dog and eat more and save the world, whoa that doesn't seem right...who snuck the diet resolution in there and why am I dieting again? I'm not fat, I'm just floofy. Any recent chubbyness was just babyfat Right?...Right? Someone out there must agree with me. But the truth is that when the ladypeep and the manpeep go on a diet, we all go on a diet. So yada, yada, yada, we all go on a diet, the manpeep loses a jillion pounds in the first two weeks and the ladypeep loses 1.25 lbs. She gets all pissy and the next thing you know, the house is full chocolate, cookies and bread again. She eats her face off and our world is right again.
So we probably won't be writing the blog much in January. We're visiting everyone though and are glad you came to visit us.
Phinney is sound asleep right now, but if he was awake he'd say "somefing is verra unhusual goin' on in dis house. Dat peep lady is growlin when she opens dat door on her big food box. Dere is nuffin good to eat in her is whut she says. An' i is jest a cat but i can see dere is squillions of fings in dere, dere is eggs an' cheeze an' meat an' pickles an' somefing she calls 'condinments'. Dis is jest a fancy word for ketchup an' mustard'.

Hah! Dietz do NOT work!!!Da momee here haz dieted since she waz a itty-bity gurl..& justee look at her! Fatter den evfur. She iz livin' proof dat dieitn' only makes da metab-holism gets worsee. Now chocoholot....well, I suppoze dat makes it be a itty-bitty worsee. Now me, I only gained 4 poundz from duck, ice cream, niptniz & toona puffs.
I suppoze I will now has to wrassle wit da mad Bur-man to gets back into shape fur 2008.
I completely agree, guys. Just because the humans have no self control and need to lose weight, is that a reason for the felines in this family to suffer? I say NO!! A guy needs food to keep up his strength, you know!

I wanted to stop by and answer your question from the other day....I don't know what kind of cat I am. I am not Himalayan. I think my biological mom must have slept around a lot...let me clarify....not my mom I have now! I think I must be part Siamese and something else. I talk all the time and I think that is a trait of Siamese.
Are you really fat, Eddy? You look quite fluffy...maybe it is just lots of furs?
