Why do people eat strange stuff

There's something really really wrong in our kitchen tonight. Something's cooking and its not ham, nope, nope, nope...it's not tuna, nope it sure ain't tuna....it's not chicken or beef, or eggs or cream, or anything that I'd ever eat. It's (hold your nose) something awful called cabbage rolls. It's been cooking for days, well maybe just a couple hours, but its really really gross.

The lady peep spent all morning plunking a gigantic monster cabbage into really hot water, pulling the leaves off it, burning her fingers, and cussing "swears" like a sailor. Over and over she did it till finally she had about 4000 leaves of wilted cabbage. Then, she chopped onions (which I also don't like) and cooked it with bacon (umm, bacon) and rice, until it was all smooshy. Then, instead of leaving well enough alone, she put all that good rice and bacon mixture into the cabbage leaves, rolled it up into cigars and stuck it all in the hot oven with red sauce all over it. She says its really good, but I'm not falling for that nosireee, not me. I'm staying far away from the kitchen. I sure hope she's finished cooking soon.

Did you know the man peep and the lady peep left me and Phinny home all weekend by ourselves. Yes she did. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. Technically we were home alone, but she had the friend peeps come over both days to play with us, and feed us, so that was kinda cool. They is nice friend peeps. And, the friend peeps took Sam the Dog with them to spend the night, so cats ruled here. The peeps went far far away to a wedding. They came back yesterday and 'cause today was a holiday in Canada, we got to spend some time hanging out today.

Phinny has got some really really sharp teeth and claws. And....he did a very very bad thing in the plant in the livingroom. I didn't even have to tell on him. IT SMELLED ATROCIOUS and the lady peep found it. She's gonna have to put some wire mesh around the plants 'cause she said if he did it again, he was going to be in big trouble.

The lady peep has another picture of Phinny that she wants to put on the blog. I don't remember her taking this many pictures of me when I was little. Good thing I'm not lacking self-confidence, else I'd worry that he was cuter than me. Also its a very good thing I'm way bigger than him and once in a while when I'm helping him wash his face, I smack him with my front paw. Heh heh heh. That's what brothers do..just ask my buddy Speedy.
