So today seems like it might be a great day. The lady peep and the man peep are really happy because the daughter and granddaughter peep are here visiting. We took pictures of them for everyone to see with the new camera - which is much easier to use. Even I can do it. (Except the part where you take the computer chip out of the camera - my fingers are too fat for that) But anyway, here's a great pic of me and the two of them cuddling just before it was time to get up yesterday morning.

Pretty cute eh...

Today is also the day I get to tell you about one of my adventures with Marble when I was visiting him last month... I call it -

The Day of Darkness....

It started out kinda hectic like - at Marble's house there are two lady peeps and only one bathroom with a shower...and it seems like one of them is always in the shower and the other is standing outside the door of the room, yelling at the other one to hurry up... But I digress...

After everyone gets showered, then they gotta eat before they go to school/work, which I can totally relate to because I gotta eat before I have my morning nap. So naturally I was right beside the daughter peep, IN THE PANTRY, when she was getting the cereal and juice boxes out. I was checking to see if there were any cat snacks on the floor in there - there was a whole big bag of them on the top shelf, which Marble and I take turns knocking over, hehhehheh - when all of a sudden, the lights went out and it was pitch black. It was so dark I couldn't see my own tail.

I thought, Okay, they'll be back right away and open the door again, 'cause one of them always remembers to make sure no cat is trapped anywhere before they leave, so I just kinda sat there and sniffed all the good smells in there - I may have actually taken a little catnap...'cause suddenly I realized I'd been in there for a long long time..

So I called - "Hey you guys", I'm still in the pantry". "Someone come and let me out please" - There was no answer... I was trapped. Marble stuck his paw under the door and tried to pull it open but he couldn't.. Then I tried to head butt it open - and nope, that didn't work either.

I was starting to get concerned. What would I do if I had to stay in there all day? What would happen if I needed to use the facilities? Now I'm not going to say I panicked, because technically I didn't... but I did jump around frantically and lotsa things got knocked onto the floor - which is lucky for me 'case when the big box of Froot Loops fell over, it banged into the door knob and presto the latch clicked over, the door cracked open and I was free...

You might not be surpised to find out that I let Marble do ALL the exploring in the pantry after that. I do NOT like being locked in pantries. Next time I'll tell you about what happened when the peeps got home and found the pantry in dis-array...
