Remember the VETs.

Okay, this is really wierd...This morning the lady peep and the man peep are going to a service at ll:00 to remember the VETS. Whattheheck... how can anyone forget the VET. Aren't they the guys who stick pointy needles in me and other things...

Whoops, the lady peep just set me straight. I didn't know there were other kinds of Vets as well. The ones we should remember today are the VETerans from the wars around the world who died to make it safe for me and everyone else. The lady peeps says they are the only real heros in the world. The lady peep says today is the day everyone in the world remembers her Uncle Fred who died in the 2nd World War when he was in an airplane that our enemies shot down in Urope. Well actually she says everyone remembers their own families who died and they also remember everyone else and this is the day they say thank you for making the world safe.

She says people wear poppies 'cause poppies grew in Flander's Fields where the heros who died were buried. So because I'm a cat and it would hurt to stick a poppy in my coat, I'm wearing it here today.
