Just Call me Sipowitz, the excellent NYPD Cat detective cat
I’ve decided I’m going to be a detective cat when I grow up. There are lots of mysteries that only a creature with a highly developed mind like mine can solve.
For instance…I heard my lady peep speaking to the man peep last night. She was asking him who put the blue magic marker in the dryer with her “whites” and got blue streaks all over her blouses. He said, “not me, sweetie” and she said well it sure wasn’t me either, so who the heck was it? I betcha I could figure that one out.
Another example…someone keeps coming into the house when we’re asleep and stealing the lady peep’s reading glasses and her car keys. Whoever it is, never takes the man’s keys or glasses, which is really weird, because his would be easier to find and take since (as he says) he always puts his stuff away in the same place, and she puts hers in a different purse every day.
Another mystery that needs to be solved at our house is “Where did the last piece of cake go?” This mystery really worries me because someday, whoever it is whose taking the cake, may decide to take my last can of food, and then there may be a murder to be solved.
On another subject altogether, the peeps installed a new “Phantom Screen” door on the front door last weekend. It is soooooooo cool. I can sit on the welcome mat and see and smell almost the whole world right outside. Something that’s really cool is that bugs don’t know there’s a screen door and fly into it and then walk around on the screen. That makes me want to stand up and smack them with my front paw. The peeps don’t like me to do that. They say they’ll close the door, if I start scratching on the screens and no more looking outside for me.
Sam the Dog didn’t realize the screen door was shut and ran right into it last night. It snapped open really fast and made a really loud bang. Nearly scared me half to death. Stoopid dog.
The lady peep told me and the man peep that Jessica (the grandchild peep) is coming to visit on July 23. She’ll stay for a whole week and she’s bringing a friend with her. Jessica is lots of fun to play with and curl up with at night. Everyone is really looking forward to the visit.
I got an invitation from KittyDiva’s mom to play “Secret Paws” and today my peep helped me pick some pics to add to the blog. Hoo Boy, I can’t wait.. I love opening presents.

I bet you WOULD really be a good detective, Fat Eddy. But some mysteries are better left unsolved. Especially if you want both of your peeps to keep speaking to you (and opening the stinky goodness) We really like your detective logo!
You would make a good detective. You could come here and solve the "where do all my freaking socks" go mystery that our Mommy has had for years.
If anyone can solve these mysteries it's you because.......
Cats Rule!!!!
You got a furry cool detective logo, Fat Eddy. Glad you're doing Secret Paws this time. It's fun!'
Purrrrrrrrs :)

Our community already has an attorney, Mr. Finnegan J. Katz, Esq. at www.2carolinacats.blogspot.com so it's very good news for us all to have an official cat detective. Could you quote an hourly rate to come to Whiskonsin and help our Dad look for the stuff he loses every day? Really cool logo, by the way!
That is a great detective picture, Fat Eddy! It's mysterious when things go missing. In our house it is usually my dad who loses things. He can never find his glasses. Once he left them in his shirt pocket and they got put through the washing machine and came out unbroken - amazing!
It sounds like you have all the skills for fine deduction and solid logic, Eddy. Perhaps I could hire you to solve the mysteries of my household!
