Life in the Fast Lane

Another day, another opportunity to view the alternate reality outside my observation portal.

There are other cats in the alternate reality. I saw a particularly fetching one this morning, walking along the top of the fence. Boy Howdey, if I still had my testicles, and could figure out how to get outside, I'da been on the fence with that queen.

My person brought home a new device calculated to test my patience. Another piece of stretchy cord with a feather attached to the end. While it was mildly interesting at first and smelled faintly of catnip, I found it disintegrated quickly when chewed, drooled on and carried around. Around midnight, I dragged the feather part down to the basement and buried it in my litter box. That should make for some interesting conversation between her and the male person tomorrow.

My female person got me some new brand of kitty cuisine. It was very tasty with chunks of something that was supposed to be whitefish and gravy. I don't understand what it is with people. They obviously have no taste at all. The female was almost gagging when she put it out this a.m. I'll grant it was kinda fishy smelling, but the taste was to die for.
